Famtastik Privacy Policy

Welcome to Famtastik ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of your family. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our Famtastik mobile and web applications (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
We only collect and process information that is strictly necessary to run our family task coordination services:
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your phone number, email address, and family nickname.
- Tasks and Schedules: We store the titles, descriptions, priorities, and completion statuses of tasks created in your family workspace.
- Google Calendar Data: If you explicitly choose to sync a Google Calendar, our App requests access to read your calendar events via Google OAuth APIs. We retrieve:
* Event start and end times.
* Event titles/summaries (to display as "busy slots").
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data solely to provide and improve Famtastik's core services:
- To display task lists and schedule family activities.
- To perform AI-based task suggestions, where we read your calendar's busy/free blocks to ensure we do not recommend assigning a task to a member who is currently busy.
3. Data Sharing and Protection
We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data (including any data retrieved from Google Calendar) with third parties. All your Google user data stays private within your family workspace.
4. Google API Limited Use Compliance
Famtastik's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements or training generalized machine learning models.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data only for as long as your family account remains active. You can disconnect your synced Google Calendars at any time through the App settings, which will instantly delete all cached calendar slots from our systems.

Famtastik Terms of Service

Welcome to Famtastik. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile or web applications (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
Famtastik provides a family organization platform. You agree to use the App only for lawful family management purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your verification OTPs and account access.
2. Third-Party Calendar Integration
The App allows you to synchronize events from third-party calendar providers (e.g. Google Calendar). By linking these accounts, you authorize us to fetch and cache busy slots in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have all necessary rights and consents from family members before linking any calendars.
3. AI Assistant Disclaimer
Our App utilizes artificial intelligence models to suggest task assignees, priorities, and descriptions. These suggestions are provided "as is" for coordination assistance. Famtastik does not guarantee the accuracy of AI suggestions, and you should exercise your own judgment before relying on them for critical chores or schedules.
4. Intellectual Property
All source code, designs, graphics, and features of the Famtastik application are owned by Famtastik and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your family workspace or access to our App at any time for violation of these Terms or for operational security maintenance.
6. Limitation of Liability
Famtastik is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App or your inability to access it.
